Ok, I've spent 30 minutes searching the boards and I can't find an answer to this question so I thought I'd throw it out there.  I've recently joined a book club and we are reading different books each month and then having discussions about them.  While I love all the new books I'm reading when we go back to discuss them I'm having a hard time finding the passages I'm thinking about from the book on my Kindle 1.  I don't see anywhere that there is a search function on the Kindle 1.  Now I may be blind but I just can't find it.  I've found it on my Kindle app on my iTouch but I don't download all my books to it and the iTouch is harder to read.  Can someone tell me if I can search on my Kindle 1 and if we can how to do it.

Thanks.

At the bottom of the keyboard, on the right hand side there is a key that says "search", it will open a panel on the bottom of the screen to enter text to search for. I haven't tried this from within a book, but it can be done from the home page.

ETA: Just tried it from within a book and it seems to work just fine.

Sometimes I think I'm oblivious, actually in this case I was.  I've had my Kindle for over 2 years and I guess I've just overlooked that button since then.  I think I knew about it when I first got but then forgot it about it or something.  Thanks for the help, it has been driving me crazy.
