Need guide for update k2 on Macbook.

 Hi, I recently change to Mac and wondering if anyone can teach me how to do k2 update on it.

I assume you are asking how to manually download the update.  First go to amazon and download the update file.  The default place on a Mac that the file goes to is the "downloads" file (let me know if you have trouble finding this, as there can be several ways to get to the file---but it's usually pretty easy to find).  Copy the file.

Now, hook your kindle up to your computer.  The kindle will show up like a flash drive.  Either double click the kindle drive (icon) on the desktop or open it from finder.  Paste the update file into the root directory (the is the main section where the documents and music folder are), don't put it into any folders.

Now, eject your kindle by either dragging the icon to the trash or hitting "eject device" within the finder view.

Turn on your kindle....hit menu...select "setting"...hit menu again....and select "update"  If the choice to update is not selectable then you either downloaded the wrong version of the update file or didn't place it into the root directory

 Thank you so much!    I could not find the kindle folder in Mac where I can drag the update folder  but I finally found and
got updated!!  thank you again .
