^^^^ this!

Or a Kindle App Store alternative, pronto.

Giving up readable fonts for organized books isn't an acceptable trade-off, in my opinion.  I'm really hoping the K App Store is being readied for rollout in the next few weeks, but I'm not holding my breath.

Currently reading...no idea.  Trying to decide from the overflowing TBR "pile" and not making any headway!

I would like to see them complete collections.
1) Allow for subcollections
2) Allow series books to be tagged and displayed in reading order
3) Alpha sort collections
etc

I want 2.5.3 (which I don't have yet) so badly. I don't think I'll get it via Whispernet and they will probably never post it for manual download.

Yes, I know it doesn't function any differently than 2.5.2. But it seems like my Kindle has had an out-of-date software version forever. I want to be up to date!!! OK, I have a little of that OCD thing going, I guess...  Grin  ROFL

That's just what I was going to say - and I think we might be out of luck. Also sub collections. There's always room for improvement and we'll soon forget how excited we were to get this update.

a new update with a choice to have different types of fonts.  it's being said that the font hacks won't work with 2.5.2, so hopefully, amazon will release an update where you can CHOOSE your favorite font.  that would be great!!

I'll covet Android v2.2 on my cell phone....Lots of forum members are coveting the new iPhone....And plenty of coveting of iPads is going on, even though those are actually available....Don't worry, our covetousness generators are all very healthy and will keep us craving something new!

Right now, I'm coveting BN opening up their new direct publishing interface. They just contacted me to tell me it's coming in the next few weeks, but It still not there. Looking forward to offering cheap ebooks on BN (where they are mostly over-priced).

Sub-folders, the ability to alphabetize collections, and updated font/screensaver hacks. Honestly, I'm pretty happy right now, sub-folders would send me over the moon!
