'Quick-Reply' tips

There are two ways to post a reply in a thread.

1. When viewing a thread, you can click on the 'Reply' button (near the top right and also at the bottom right of the page). This will open a new 'Post reply' page, with all of the formatting buttons for bold, italic, image, etc.

2. Alternatively, you can use a 'Quick Reply' which is available at the bottom of the thread. This is a simple, quick way to post a reply without having to open a new page. The Quick Reply does not have the formatting buttons. (You can get to the formatting buttons, though, by clicking on the Preview button below the Quick Reply box.)

Note: if you can't see the Quick Reply box, you may need to change your profile settings. Go to Profile > Look & Layout Preferences, and set 'Use quick reply on topic display' to "show, on by default".
