I thought I would surprise my hubby with his very own Kindle since the price dropped and he has been "hinting" that he is tired of reading on his iPhone.... I really wanted to keep it a surprise, but I was too excited about it and I told him that his very own kindle is on its' way to Chicago and will get here on Tuesday- the look on his face was absolutely precious!!! He looked like a little kid who was just given a pony! LOL And then he did a "I'm getting a Kindle" happy dance across the room- He's so cute!

What a wonderful wife you are!! Your husband will absolutely LOVE his Kindle!! Waiting for it to arrive is the hard part.... but once it's in his hands.... life will never seem the same. I spent my "waiting for my Kindle to be delivered" time here on KindleBoards which really helped because I already had learned a lot about my Kindle from reading the discussions here. Kongratulations!!

What a great present. I don't blame you for telling him. I couldn't have kept the secret either. My mom is trying to talk my grandfather into taking advantage of the new price. He'll be 95 in October and reads constantly. I hope he's on Kindlewatch in the next couple of days. deb

I really want to get my hubby one but right now we are beyond broke and I was only able to get one myself because my dad got it for me as a present.

I know how ot feels! I got my girlfriends birthday Kindle 20 days before her birthday. It was so hard for me to keep it a secret. I always wanted to tell her, but I didn't.

My hubby's Kindle is on the truck! It will be here before he gets home from work, and it will take all of my willpower NOT to open it up before he gets home- LOL
My latest Zappos order is out for delivery too- wonder if they will come on the same truck? It feels like a race between my two favorite companies!!!!

OMG! A Kindle order and a Zappos order on the same day. I would declare that a national holiday!
