So my sister FINALLY broke down and bought a Kindle. We are going to share an account (she'll be on mine) since we used to send DTB back and forth (we live 1/2 way cross the country - I'm in CA and she is in MN)

She got a Medge Latitude jacket in red/black.

I'm trying to chose the skin. What do you all think? She is a very warm lady, has 2 boys, very family oriented. She loves scrapbooking and her house is very well done (decorated and all that) Rich colors, cute sayings, etc. I'd like something really neat. My favorites are the Zen Revisted and the Chinese Fan one. I've narrowed it down to the below and need FINAL HELP! What do you like best with the Latitude?

I think the Zen Revisited follows the lines of the cover quite well. Good luck in your decision. I know your sister will be pleased with anything you choose.

I also agree, even before I saw the juxtaposed photos.  It's a classy look that doesn't distract the eyes from reading too much.

Hmmm....I might have to add the Zen to my collection of unopened skins...6, to be exact. Nobody ever said I was accessory challenged.

I agree about the zen with that cover- I've wanted this skin for awhile but still love my current KDX skin so hadn't had a good reason to get it. I finally took the plunge a few days ago and got it for my iPad, which I keep in a red cover. It should arrive on Monday!

Wow, before looking at anyone else's replies, I picked the Zen one also.  So far it's unanimous!

What red cover do you have for your ipad?  I'm thinking a red ipad cover would be stunning.

It's this one from amazon - Acase Flip Book Jacket. It met my most of my criteria, except for it not being leather. The faux is nice feeling too, and the ability to stand it up at different angles, with the volume toggle at the top, is invaluable to me. Great for using it in bed for typing, reading, surfing, etc, even with 2 cats piled on me. Cheesy I don't have to hold it at all.

Sorry for the bad iphone pics. The color is more a fire engine red, not as orange as it appears here. There are a few more in the album when you click over. I recommended this case to my aunt when she got her ipad, and she is in love with it as well! I wish I could justify another Oberon for my ipad since there are more choices than for the DX, but I just can't trade the utility I have with this one.

My husband has that exact cover and the top skin you listed (I think it's called 3000). It looks really good together, but it's more masculine I think.

Zen is great, but so is the bottom one. Good luck with whichever you choose and let us know how she likes it!

My previous Kindle, Lady Mara, had the Zen skin.  It looks fabulous in a cover - the little bit of bamboo on the right side is quite nice.

I'm glad you chose the Zen.  I love that one.  I love the dark tweet one too, but there's no red on the front, and the back will be hidden in the Latitude.

I happen to have my K2 in the Sacred skin and love it! It's elegant, like a beautiful picture frame! Doesn't distract from my reading screen in any way.

I also have my K2 in a red m-edge prodigy cover! They make a great combination!

Best Wishes in making the right choice! You have some great ones!
