So here's the deal. If I want to get a DXG I'd have to sell my K2i. Not to mention the accessories. Sigh.

However I've been wanting to do that Audible offer which will give me $100 off a Kindle. I just noticed the Kindle DX refurb units are only $250...which puts the DX refurb in my price range if I'm budget careful (just had my birthday and got $100!). I do a lot of PDF for my work for which the DX would be super helpful.

So I'm just trying to figure out if it would be worth it to sell everything to get a DXG or if I should just get a regular DX refurb and keep the K2 as it is really great at night in bed...but it is awful for PDF which is a big bummer for me.

Plus my eyes are giving me problems and now I've got progressives and orders to take frequent PC breaks and limit my video gaming devices since they are all backlit as well. So the Kindle is pretty much it for me and the one thing I am just loving right now that I can do.

Would getting an existing DX be worth it or should I hold out for a couple of months and save for a DXG or the new K3 that's rumored?

I wonder if the new higher contrast e-ink used by the DXG might help your vision problems? If so, it might be worth waiting and saving if you could afford to buy it in a couple of months or so.
