Seriously.....these publishers need to take some marketing classes!!

You said it. Did you see where the Washington Post's Book Review supplement is going out of print as a separate section?

I wonder if it'll take months, or years, before publishers come to undersand KindlePower....

No more Book World as a separate section?! Honestly, that was one of the main reasons why I still get Sunday-only home delivery of the Post. That's a bummer.

If I wasn't at work I could link to the Post. You can read about it straight from the source in today's edition.

You bet! On a related note, here's another item I turned up by chance. I don't know this person, but KindleBoarders and we indie authors can feel good about being on the cutting edge:

Thanks for the thread, Betsy. I guess I'm already off-topic on this one too. I really ought to search for a closer one...OK, I'll do that, but here's what the post will be:

Yep, there are several posts in various places about the rumored Kindle 2 announcement.  Here's one of them.
http://www.kindleboards.com/index.php/topic,2927.0.html

I'll move any posts here on Kindle 2 to that one, so everyone, please post there, or wherever Al posts his to.

I put it in the thread on the Feb. 9 conference, Betsy. That's probably the link you mentioned, but my internet connection is so slow I can't easily bounce around the threads to check. Sorry. But thanks. I guess you can delete the mention of the meeting on this thread (and this message too, come to that).
