Has anyone else noticed that the # of books in the kindle store has been dropping  the last few days. It was close to 660,000 and now it's around 650,000.  Has there been another publisher issue or Huh

There are a couple of threads around where people found their books published illicitly. . .so it could be a purge of books that were uploaded by folks who didn't have the right to do so. . . . .

I'm not particularly worried. . .it's still more than I can read in a lifetime. Cheesy

That's certainly more than I will read as well, but I do wonder if Amazon has possibly pulled some publisher's books and what the reason may be. The total # of books available now has dropped by almost 30,000 since this morning to around 622,000.  Curious.

so...maybe I'm having kindle book hallucinations or something...books available now are back up to around 655,000....I honestly don't know why I've been caring or even noticing this...I need to be reading all my loads of unread kindle books rather than thinking about this.

Actually I can't wait until Amazon hits the one million mark so when Barnes and Nobles does their "we have over a million eBooks" mantra, I can reply "so does Amazon only theirs aren't public domain".   Grin

Vlad is back, and this time he's hungry. I mean, really hungry. I could explain the plot of this one, but I think I'm going to eat, instead.  Steven Brust's synopsis of Druz.
