In these pages everyday fishermen, pros, and journalists tell their stories of freak accidents, fishy attacks, pranks, idiotic decisions, eerie or unexplained incidents, and other jaw dropping, adrenalin-pumping calamities. The stories bring to life the strange possibilities that await us once we cast our lines into known and unknown waters.

Here are some of the characters you'll meet inside these pages:

* A sport fisherman who gets taken on harrowing underwater ride by an angry white shark.
* An adventure angler whose boat is over turned by a 200 lb Amazon-river catfish.

I want the new updates but I have no clue what this UFH 0.2 is.  I would love to uninstall it or is it an uninstall itself?  At any rate it does not show up in the "root" of my kindle and I can't seem to find out how to get rid of it.  would anyone be so kind as to help me??  TIA.

It is a font hack. When you install it, it does not create a file, it alters the Kindle system file. Someone will post a solution shortly.

I put this    update_ufh_uninstall-k2.bin (old) into the root of my Kindle.  Then I tried to follow the directions after that by going into the settings menu but it did not give me an option to update my Kindle.  I did sync and check for items but that keeps wanting me to connect to wireless and then I push "yes" and then it syncs and checks and the stupid hack is still there.  Any guesses as to what I'm doing wrong?

Are you sure you have an original K2 or the more recent K2i (global wireless, which is all they've sold even for US customers for maybe 9 months or more)? This zip file has all 3 uninstall files (K2, K2i, and DX) for that hack version: http://charles-reace.com/Kindle_Hacks/font_uninstall_2.3.zip

I'm positive it's the original K2.   I will try another uninstall bin from the link you posted.  Will it remove the "old" version of the install?

Check the S/N of your unit, because a greyed out "Update Your Kindle" link means you've got the wrong binfile for your device ID.

What is the S/N and where would I find this.  Thanks for all of these suggestions btw.  I feel a lot less hopeless at this point.
