Add in Orwell, leave in Clarke?
Dr. Seuss - less than 50 posts Madeleine L'Engle - 50 Lewis Carroll - 100 Jane Austen - 250 Arthur Conan Doyle - 500 Scheherazade - 1001 George Orwell - 1984 Arthur C Clarke - 2001 Dostoevsky - 3000 A A Milne - 4000 Edgar Allen Poe - 5000 Emily Dickinson - 7500 Isaac Asimov - 10,000 Agatha Christie - 15,000 Jules Verne - 20,000 Shakespeare - 25,000
1984-3000 is not that bad a jump if it is decided to skip Clarke.. but jmho I like having him in there to follow the theme. 1001, 1984, 2001, 20,000.

I've been a Clarke fan longer than an Orwellian, but there's already another Arthur on the list ....

Works for me... one more yes vote.... I'll be sorry that I missed being Scheherazade but glad that I escaped being Poe <shudder>.

Bump everybody above 1984 up and add in a level at 12500? Or leave it like it is

It could be worse. In a month or two I'll be Poe evermore.

Any chance Octavia Butler could find her way into the mix?

I thought about her too, but thought she might be too niche ...

Ann, now you're listed as Poe. He must be bumping them up one level at a time.

A lot of you noticed the new levels as I added them - it took a bit longer to add them than I expected!! Here are the results, and the number of members currently in each level. | Name | Stars | Required posts | Current Members | | Status: Dr. Seuss | * | 0 | 20233 | | Status: Madeleine L'Engle | ** | 50 | 357 | | Status: Lewis Carroll | ** | 100 | 376 | | Status: Jane Austen | *** | 250 | 199 | | Status: Arthur Conan Doyle | **** | 500 | 119 | | Status: Scheherazade | ***** | 1001 | 59 | | Status: George Orwell | ***** | 1984 | 0 | | Status: Arthur C Clarke | ***** | 2001 | 25 | | Status: Dostoevsky | ****** | 3000 | 9 | | Status: A A Milne | ****** | 4000 | 4 | | Status: Edgar Allan Poe | ******* | 5000 | 5 | | Status: Emily Dickinson | ******* | 7500 | 5 | | Status: Isaac Asimov | ******** | 10000 | 2 | | Status: Agatha Christie | ********* | 15000 | 2 | | Status: Jules Verne | ********* | 20000 | 0 | | Status: Shakespeare | ********** | 25000 | 0 |
