Here are some userbars that you can use in your signature, in this forum and - better yet - in other forums that you drop in on.

It's a fun way to spread the word about Kindle, and about these forums! When people click on your userbar, they're taken here where they'll have a chance to meet our friendly and fascinating members. Wink

Below each userbar is the code to copy/paste into your forum signature:

For Kindle Owners:

Code:
[url=http://www.kindleboards.com][img]http://www.kindleboards.com/graphics/kindleboards-userbar-01.jpg[/img][/url]

For the rest of us who are saving up:

Code:
[url=http://www.kindleboards.com][img]http://www.kindleboards.com/graphics/kindleboards-userbar-02.jpg[/img][/url]

For our contest and giveaway winners:

Code:
[url=http://www.kindleboards.com][img]http://www.kindleboards.com/graphics/kindleboards-userbar-07.jpg[/img][/url]

Another fun one (thanks, kreelanwarrior!):

Code:
[url=http://www.kindleboards.com][img]http://www.kindleboards.com/graphics/kindleboards-userbar-enabler.jpg[/img][/url]

I made a special one for myself:  Smiley

And... book klub userbars! Thanks to Mike for providing these! You can book klub userbars (like the one below) at this thread!

How to edit your forum signature:

1. Click on the Profile button (on the top forum menu)
2. Click on Forum Profile Information (from the menu on the left side)
3. Scroll down to find the "Custom Signature" area
4. Type in your signature, or use bbcode to insert a graphic
5. Important! Click on the "Change profile" button at the bottom, when you're done!

Yes but even though I do have a MySpace page, I hardly ever log in......  now if you can get a banner for Facebook, I'd want to know about it!  Smiley

I like it because I've connected with a bunch of people I went to high school with at RAF Alconbury 20 some odd years ago.  I also like Scramble which is an online version of Boggle - one of my favorite games!

Most of my friends are on MS but some also have FB.

I'm sure once Harvey figures out my woes on MS...he'd come up with one for FB.

Just a test to see if I did this right!

Obviously NOT.

When I tried to do the cut and paste thig the code went on too long and I couldn't get the slider bar to move. Will try again tomorrow.

Oh, well, I did add another post!

^ Yes, that or you can also triple-click in the 'code' section, and that will select all of the code in the box.

Hi Linda,
  The userbar is working for you now.
 The only problem was, the code was pasted into the 'website URL' box instead of the 'signature' box. So I just moved it into the 'signature' box. Voila!
