Can't seem to delete some documents from my archives...

When I got my Kindle 3 I had 2 items in my Archives that I did not want. The 4th & 5th editions of the Kindle User Guide, and this is in addition to the User Guide that comes with the K3. I can't seem to permanently get rid of them and it's kind of irking me. I know usually to permanently delete something I would log into my Amazon account and go to Manage My Kindle, but they are not listed there. If I move them out of Archive and delete them, they just re-appear in my Archives. Am I missing something? It's probably something simple, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Well, Amazon put them there when you had devices that they pertained too. . . .I don't expect you can get rid of them.   Though I supposed you could contact Kindle CS, explain you no longer have a K2 Users Guide and would like all but the K3 one removed so there's no confusion as to which is the correct one.

All my user guides are shown on my 'manage your kindle' page and have the option to delete them. Are you sure you're looking far enough back on the list - there will be more than one page to it.

Actually mine only has one page since I only own 6 Kindle Books (7 if you count the new user's guide). The older versions of the user guide are not showing up there.

I was able to figure this out mostly on accident. I discovered that these two documents were actually listed in "Your Collection" under "Media Library" of my Account. This is different from just the Manage My Kindle page and actually shows pretty much every Amazon purchase I have made digital or otherwise. Once I deleted it from here I went back on the Kindle and went into the Archives. From there I hit the Menu key and selected "Sync & Check for Items" and they magically disappeared.
