Larry - It happens to all of us. Bad days, bad weeks, sometimes bad minutes heaped on top of bad minutes. Then the one more thing happens and SNAP! That is when I try to breathe, listen to some calm music, pet the cat, or? ... I just noticed the motto in your avatar. Good advise to all of us. Please try to relax and come join us with an open mind.

I hope that your wife is on the road to recovery and that you will have a restful week end.

Peace.

I missed your vent, but we all have those days and weeks, Larry.  We wouldn't be human if we never cracked.

Yeah, public humiliation sucks. Especially when it's self inflicted.
Been there, done that. (Multiple times.)

I also missed the vent, but I hope your wife is better and things improve in other areas that are causing you stress.

I hope you get a nice, relaxing three-day weekend. And from someone who knows knee pain, I hope your wife feels better.

Larry, You were courageous enough to apologize to publically apologize to 20,000+ people - I'm impressed.  I hope your stress goes down, your wife starts feeling better and you come on back to join us!

Larry I am going to take a different stand and say you had nothing to apologize for.  I read the thread and just wanted reasonable customer service and the product you paid for. There is no excuse for 3 faulty items and anyone else here who had that happen would be upset and complaining as well.

I have noticed in "fan" forums like this that when people have a complaint about the company or product there are always some people who post snotty attacks or insults.  The Amazon Kindle forum is far worse even. People there are downright nasty to anyone who doesn't toe the party line.

For every instance of someone claiming Amazon is the greatest I have seen people who had problems. Those people who had problems are often jumped on, called trolls or liars and generally beaten off the forums. That's how fan forums work often sadly.

So...I for one say no apologies needed and I hope things work out for you Smiley
