I don't even have a Kindle yet but I've bought a few Kindle books.   Cheesy

I assume this is okay and once I receive my Kindle, the books will transfer to it?   Huh

Thank guys!

That is correct. In the event they fail to download on their own, you can always download them from the archive in the Kindle menu.

Thanks for the prompt reply.  I have an itchy finger now seeing how easy it is to order books!   Grin

I've done this with all of our Kindles, pre-loaded them. That way when I plugged it in and turned on the wireless, they all started downloading and indexing while it was charging. I've never had a problem with doing it that way. Ever. Others say not to turn on the wireless yet, but hey, I live dangerously. Haven't had to factory reset a Kindle yet. In fact, when I got my K3, I already had 300 books in queue for it. Smiley Hey, I want to spend my time playing with it when it got here, not moving books to it!

The first Kindle I ordered was lost in transit and deregistered somewhere along the way before I bought any books.  I decided not to buy any books for my replacement (the K3) until it got here but I downloaded plenty of freebies while I was waiting.
