I expect to get 'World Without End' eventually. I did find a book the other night that I wasn't thinking about that was only 4.95 on the Kindle - Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. I read that years ago and almost picked it up earlier this year.  I have it now!

It's certainly not as bad as it could be. People who cannot go back have essentially burnt the bridge behind them, so to speak, but what if that burnt bridge was in front of you? How far would you go to read again?

That's what I've been dealing with.

The only books that I would have read prior to my K1 would have been the rest of The Wheel of Time series, and that still amounts to little more than a snowballs chance in hell owing to the change of writers.

The K1 had pointy corners which made it uncomfortable to hold (dug into my palms) and is too bulky in a cover.
The DX ended up being much too big, even worse in a cover.
The PRS-600 did everything right except for the screen, slightly smaller would have been nice though.

The amount I've read with each device was more than I had read prior to it, but none have proven to be good enough. I now await my fourth e-reader, the PRS-350, and for the first time I dare to hope that I've finally found the right device for me.

It's not about how you read, but about how easily you can pick up a book and read it, the less resistance there is the better. If you cannot go back to paper books then that would suggest that there was a resistance there, you just never noticed it before.
