although it still turns fine I've had an increased amount of random delay when turning pages. I've checked indexing, downloads each time but it did not have a problem with either far as I can tell.

I'm not ready to order a K3 until I hear the problems are fixed..and I really don't want a refurbished K2 from amazon so I'm really bummed!

They'll send me out another right? They cannot just fix mine? I'd read that on other threads. You know as much as that clicking bothers me I've quickly learned that it is required to tell whether you've turned the page. My button is, for lack of better term, "mushy" and you can hardly tell you've depressed it...you need to touch it only lightly. This is causing aproblem with reading since sometimes I press it twice and then have to go back.

Is there anything this could be that I could fix w/o voiding the warranty and such? It's only 5 months old!

You might try taking a can of compressed air and focusing it in the cracks. . .it's possible there's a crumb or something that's got in and is causing the problem. . . .but I wouldn't go any farther than that if it's still under warranty.

In general they don't 'fix' Kindles that are returned -- at least, maybe they do, but that's not the one you get back.  And it's better this way!  If you have a problem under warranty, they send you a replacement immediately and you send the other one back after it comes. . .that way you're never without a device. Thanks Ann..I'll give that a try! I have some..I wasn't sure if I should as I'm a bit paranoid. I baby my Kindle so much (should have named her baby instead of Flora LOL)

So if they send a new one will it have a warranty as well (at least through when my other was warrantied?)..It won't be like a 30 day thing? I had a Nintendo DS go bad after 8 months and had to return it...and the new one came with 30 days of warranty (and it was a refurb) and I "lost" the rest of the time from my original..so I was super bummed..don't want that to happen here!
