Reporting in on the 3rd generation 32 gb iTouch.  It does have a mic built in on the earphones.  A very cool thing also is that Skype is available for iTouch (and iPhone) and I am able to talk to my friend in Australia while walking around my house (with wireless) for FREE!!!  So cool!

I meant to add - I would LOVE to complete my life with an iPhone but I can't justify it.  I pay $89 a month for my husband's phone and my phone.  It would be that much for just the iPhone.  I do have a Blackberry so I am able to have data and internet...could be worse.

I just got a 32gb touch!  I'm happy not to have to lug my laptop  down to my moms and be stuck in a corner somewhere to find a plug! She uses wireless router so she can move her laptop anywhere and when we visit we can use ours but it's alway a hassle for me. I don't have wireless at home yet (debating on what router to use) so I'm excited to try it out and still be able to get online.

Oh mines 3rd gen and saw somewhere that it has voice commands but haven't tried it yet.

Hmmm wonder if I can play facebook games too LOL

Its an expensive toy.  I've had one for a while, but I've decided against keeping it.  Never even used half the functions.
