I was in a meeting today with a vendor trying to sell us a new property appraisal system. While making the point that newer isn't always better, and each new thing isn't necessarily the best choice for everyone, the CEO mentioned the iPad. He talked about how great it is - if you're inside. Customers who bought it for outside field work can't use it because you can't see it in the sunlight. Then he mentioned how good a Kindle is in the sunlight. I seconded what he said. Made that hour-long meeting almost worthwhile. Wink

Later we talked about the Kindle commercial when a woman lying in the sun is happily reading her Kindle, while the guy next to her is struggling to see what's on his iPad-type device. I think that's an excellent commercial.

Which is why I hate cameras with LCD's instead of a viewfinder.  Sunlight visibility.  Cool
