Just sent this to kindle-feedback@amazon.com, so I thought I would share and see what you think...

So far I really love my Kindle. The only things I don't:

    * I want a way (Alt + Page Down/Up maybe) to jump from one bookmark/note in a book to another. I think this was available in earlier Kindles?
    * I want a way to scroll line by line, so that I can frame some text just how I like in the window. That way I can hand it to someone and say, "read this" and not have to tell them which line to start on.
    * For some odd reason (maybe javascript?), when I go to http://m.gmail.com it won't let me type in my username and password. I would rather use gmail's mobile page than their full blown one. In fact, it would be nice if the browser settings had an "act like a mobile browser" setting, so that sites were automatically redirected to their mobile equivalents.
    * Sometimes when I need to zoom into a PDF, I can't find a zoom that adequately matches the column of text I need. I feel Goldilocks: too wide, or too narrow. I would like more fine-tuned zoom for PDFs.
    * When zooming in on the PDF, I want the device to remember that zoom for that PDF so that the next time I go there I don't have to zoom again. Same could apply for websites.
    * It would be nice to be able to "pin" a book to the top of the Home list.
    * Keyboard shortcuts for rotating the display! Maybe Alt + Enter key (since it looks like a rotate button).

Otherwise, I love it!

Those are very good ideas.  Let's see if they incorporate them into future releases.

The Peace Warrior Trilogy

Six hundred years after his death, a soldier's body is retrieved from the arctic lake
where he perished.  Reanimated by science, the warrior awakens to a civilization that
has abolished war, outlawed violence, and cherishes Peace above all else.  It is also
a civilization that has been enslaved by an alien race called the Minith.

Armed with a new body and the skills of an ancient soldier, he must be the...
Peace Warrior.

Agreed, all great ideas.

You can sort of do the "pin at top" using collections. For instance, by sorting collections so that "currently reading" is at the top, I can always get into my current book with Home/click/click. It's one extra click, but coming from K1, I think it's great.

I agree 100% on this.

I also love the "pin to top" suggestion. Very thoughtful.
