I just ordered my kindle2 (Ships March 2) and I'm ultra-excited for it.

But I've got a question for all of you existing kindle owners: How well does the web browser work, and is it really unlimited data? And when I mean "well", will it successfully render a site optimized for mobile devices, such as iPhones and PDAs?

There isn't a ton of information on the internet to get a good idea about this, so I'm asking who I think will know best! ^_^

The web browser is indeed unlimited, and it does work similar to mobile devices... I wouldn't include the iPhone, which has a fully functioning browser. It uses the same sort of interface as my husband's Palm Treo.

Ironically enough, that link is very comforting. I was expecting some browser locked to select sponsored sites...
