Just noticed it on Amazon just now, free with "bonus content" today.

I actually haven't read it yet. I just downloaded the freebie, then just saw this board and thought I'd let you all know.

I'm afraid of getting swept away and not working, you know? I'm such a sucker for an epic.

Based upon the great comments by the fans of this series here on KB, I immediately got my free copy.

I snagged this book last week when it was free. I wasn't sure I would like it but for free I gave it a try. It fit one of my criteria of being historical fiction. However, being not so fond of paranormal/science fiction/fantasy, I didn't know how I would enjoy a novel with time travel.

Turns out, time travel is an exception to my dislikes. I am fully enjoying this book! It's a great read and I've learned something new about myself. I enjoy time travel and past life stories in my reading. Who knew?  Huh

You can get it now, no need to wait for your Kindle to show up! Grab it while you can. Even if your Kindle isn't registered yet, you should be able to start buying books for it. (If not, just install the Kindle for PC or Mac and get it)

It was one of the very first books I bought for my Kindle.

Just download Kindle for PC and put it on there until you get your Kindle. That's what I do. Then you won't be missing out on the free books.

You don't even need Kindle for PC. (I have it and don't really use it. I think I will uninstall.) Just Select "transfer via computer" in the "deliver to..." menu. then, when your Kindle arrives, just transfer the book(s) from your computer to your new Kindle. I created a folder in My Documents on my computer called Kindle Books to store and backup. When I'm ready to transfer, I just drag from this folder into my Kindle's documents folder.
