If you're not satisfied, I'd call and nicely explain the situation and ask for a replacement. Let them know you really hate to, but you do want a nice Kindle since you love it so much.
Remember, these CS reps talk to HUNDREDS of people DAILY. They won't remember your call three minutes after you talk. Plus, they send out replacements all the time. Don't be concerned about asking for a replacement. They'll gladly do it since the product is essentially defective. I'm just saying, you're probably thinking about it more than they ever will.
