Product Description
This literary thriller revolves around Parker Sloane. When he returns from a dismal foray into third-world cash-smuggling to his childhood home in the woods of New England, it seems he’s seeing his country and his blended stepfamily for the first time—and finding both just as twitchy, desperate, paranoid and unpredictable as the underworld types he thought he’d escaped.

Before he can even unpack, Parker goes head-to-head with his relatives—his tyrannical stepfather, seething younger brother, newly evangelical mother, and his alluring younger half-sister Rita—and with the demons they never exorcised.

Delicately but disastrously, Parker attempts to keep his family from imploding, unaware that they have their own plans for escape. The Moon in Deep Winter combines the dark comedy of the Coen brothers with the doomed lyricism of Denis Johnson, creating an airtight world of homicidal family dysfunction.

We have at least two VB threads here.  I never looked at any VB bags until the enablers on KB got ahold of me.

No, no, that's okay.  I was just telling you all that there were additional threads if they wanted to look at some pictures.

Please post pictures if you can. I liked to see the other colors. Seeing the colors on their web site is just not the same. I have the same bag in Carnaby and love it. I have the K2 in mine. Glad you DX is working out better for you than the K2 had.

Unfortunately, I doubt anyone will print a Vera Bradley skin because of copyright issues, but you sure are giving me some ideas. They might not, make that probably wouldn't, recognize a VB pattern and just print a custom skin . . . Vera Bradley gives out high res files on Facebook of many of their patterns . . . don't know that I've seen Java Blue, though.

My dx travels in a Case Logic neoprene zipper case with the Amazon spine cover installed.  It is a perfect fit for Kindle and cover (made for a 10.1-inch netbook), provides moisture protection, and added padding in case of bumps.

Not very attractive (black and grey) but very functional.  Probably are some other colors available from Case Logic and the other multiple brands that produce those.

Make sure you "try on" the case on your Kindle and cover to get the perfect fit.
