Has anyone else had fonts change size, between page changes or books? For instance, I am usually reading several things at once, and I also change font sizes, I like to see as much as I can on a page but if my eyes are tired I bump it up.

Sometimes I will quit reading one book and open up a differant one. The font is sometimes really big, or really small, so I adjust it. then when I turn the page it will change size, and I have to adjust it back. Sometimes it is one size on one page, then changes for a few pages, then changes back.

I have not noticed it on everything, and once the change happens, it will stay that way when I turn pages. I havn't written down a location to see if it remains one size after the kindle has been turned off as of yet.

I wonder if my font size changing is confusing some of the books.

I've seen it happen in some books. It's usually formatting errors by the publishers.

It did it some more - and it's not the formatting. I'm reading a history text and if I put the curser on a word, then hit enter to read the extended definition, the text will be large. When I go back to the book the text is large there as well. Then when I hit next page it goes back.

Hitting previous page, the one that was big, make's it normal again. It stays normal after that even when moving between pages.

Wierd.

There's a Kindle format called Topaz that behaves oddly. The file extension is TPZ.

I got the book in question from amazon, not sure what the format is. Now I have another problem, the restarting issue. Only I don't have a kindle cover. It does it while it's in sleep mode. I even turned wireless off and it did it.  Sad

Make sure your Kindle's software is up to date... Here is the page at Amazon with update information:

It's up to date. I called them, they me revert to factory settings. Reloading my stuff was a pain. They will call me monday.

I'm thinking there is a software bug. My DX went through a phase of that but it didn't occur to me that something might be wrong, I just figured it wanted to update. It went away with the last software update.

It didn't do it that much, mine did it a lot yesterday, even when I wasn't holding it!?!   I am keeping track of any errors to report. If worse comes to worse I will just shut it off instead of making it sleep. It didn't boot in off.
