Recipes of a Lifetime, Volume 1 -- First in a series of recipe eBooks

Hello everyone,

After much thought, I've decided I'd like to make my personal recipes available to everyone.  I've acquired these from several friends and family members throughout my lifetime, hence the title of my eBook -- Recipes of a Lifetime.  This one is Volume 1 of what I hope will be a long series of recipe eBooks.

The first volume centers around cakes, cookies and candy recipes.  My aunt's chess pie is always a favorite at family gatherings and my personal favorite is the mandarin orange cake.  Future volumes will include recipes for breakfast food, casseroles, seafood, soups, appetizers and many more.  There is also a planned second volume of desserts concentrating on pies, frosting and other miscellaneous desserts.

Sadly, many of the family members who gave their recipes to me have since passed on, but my family and I can and will continue to enjoy them for years to come.  Hopefully you'll find a gem or two in there as well.

I am going to download a sample, and then will probably buy your book, although I am not crazy about cookbooks on my Kindle. (I guess I could read it on my iPad.) I love to cook, and my daughters and I are assembling a similar type of cookbook, but probably not in e-book format. I, too, have a mandarin orange cake that is a family favorite that we have been making for years. I am curious to see if we have the same recipe.

Good luck with your book sales. I'm sure your book (and future editions) will all be labors of love.

--We ask that Amazon reviews not be repeated here as they are easy to find at your book link.  Also, full reviews from other sites should not be posted here, but you may post a short blurb and a link to the full review instead.

--Self-promotion is limited to the Book Bazaar; specifically, this means that you may not suggest your OWN book in Book Corner threads.   Our most successful authors have found the best way to promote their books is to be as active throughout KindleBoards as time allows.  This is your target audience--book lovers with Kindles!  Also, please note that putting link information in the body of your posts constitutes self promotion; please leave your links for your profile signature that will automatically appear on each post.
