I like my K3, but I prefer reading with the Android app on my Dell Streak. The only thing I miss is a Collections feature. Does it exist?

I don't think so. . .at least I'm not finding it on my DROID phone. . . . .I don't miss it because I only keep a few books there -- sets of short stories and things that I can read if the unthinkable happens and I'm stuck somewhere without my Kindle. Cheesy

The Kindle for Android page indicates they'll be adding a dictionary feature soon. . .no mention of collections. . . .only sorting is by title, author, and most recent.  But you can send to kindleforandroid@amazon.com and let 'em know you'd like collections. . . .they decide what features to add based on what is most asked for, at least in part.

The dictionary feature is there with the last update I got. For me with my phone, I don't need collections, since I only download the book I'm reading now, then delete it from the phone. But for someone who uses the app exclusively, I can see the desire for it.

Ah!  I was looking at the 'Future Improvements' where the dictionary is listed.  I so rarely read on my Droid that I hadn't even noticed it. Roll Eyes

I, too, see where collections would be a benefit if it's your main reader . . . . I bet it will get added as more tablet sized Android based devices come to the market in the next few months. . . . .

So here's a beginner question...  how do I remove a book I'm no longer reading from my phone?

I forgot my Kindle and was at a place where I had to wait.  I downloaded the app to my phone, found my book and it loaded in the exact spot I'd stopped reading earlier that day.  Wow!  What a great ap!  But I prefer my Kindle - better screen and much easier to turn pages.

Thank you, Ann!  You always have the answers.  I tried everything I could think of but didn't think of that.  Worked perfectly!  Kiss

I was really hoping the kindle for android would have text 2 speech included. I would love to have that option for my android phone. Any word on this feature being added?
