was wondering if they make a skin like cover for the kindle 3 - like they make for ipods.. I want one in purple. Currently I just have a soft cover made by belkin for mine

Your best bet is to search through these threads for silicone skins or to run a basic internet search. There are a lot of decent Kindle-related products out there that Amazon doesn't carry.

I got one of those. It worked well but wasn't pretty enough for me. They aren't very expensive.
