I must be the odd ball here Angry I miss the bigger buttons from my K1. I also have large thumbs and miss the scroll wheel verses the the 5 way switch. incidentally that made the dictionary feature a lot easier too use also!

I went from a K1 to a K3 and vastly prefer the K3. . . .Seems to me like the dictionary is much easier to access on the K3. . .you just scroll up to the word and a short definition shows on the page.  Click back and it's gone, or 'enter' for more info.  On the K1 you had to scroll up and click and then scroll on the menu that popped up if the word you wanted was not the first word.  And if you were on a smaller size print you might have had to go to a second page of the menu if the word was near the end of the line.  I use the dictionary more now than I used to because it's easier for me. Yep, I hear you both! lol but with my thumb size a lot of times trying to use the up on the five way I end up hitting the menu first. But I would not give my K3 up either!

Yeah, I've had all 3.  The K1 was always a struggle for me, I just hated the design of that thing.  Hated the big and easy to bump page buttons, hated the scroll wheel.  Hated how slow it was with page turns and pulling up the dictionary etc.  Like Ann, I use the dictionary a lot more now since it's much easier and much faster than it was on the K1 (or even K2 since the K3 screen and processor are faster).

Well, hate's too strong a word, so I'm exaggerating some.  But I was sorely tempted to sell it and pick up a Sony reader (Amazon store and Whispersych kept me from doing that), and I was MUCH happier when I finally bit the bullet and ditched it and got a K2.

Going K2 to K3 is a mixed bag.  I don't regret it as the screen is MUCH better which is the most important thing.  But I preferred the size and button design of the K2--so my ideal would be the pearl screen in a K2 case. Cheesy

Having just gotten a K3 for Christmas I've not had this problem.  I previously had a K1 (since Oct 2008) and that one was bad at first. Once I got used to where and how to hold it I didn't have a problem.

I love that the K3 has previous page buttons on both sides.
