8-12 a month depending on my other obligations. Sometimes I am in the mood for "junk" reading, you know the quick, fun novels, and then I can chew through a half dozen in a couple days. Most of the time though I like a good story that provokes a little thought, and they can take 3-4 days to read.

I love to read. I've usually got several books going at once, and try to read a book a week. I'm a Kindle author, but *gasp* not a Kindle owner.

20+ per month (almost exclusively on my kindle), plus usually another 2-3 audio books on my commute. I average nearly a book a day, with very few exceptions. It's a combination of things: time (I actually get a lot of reading done at work on breaks), being a VERY fast reader, plus no television. It's amazing how many more hours per day I found when we got rid of the TV!

I'm lucky to get through just one.
The amount of time I have to read from day to day varies, so I don't really keep track of my reading that way. In 2010, I read 35 books, so that averages out to about 3 per month. I am purposefully trying to get that total to 40 books this year though. I feel like I'm off to a bad start because I'm slugging my way through Atlas Shrugged at the moment and it's a long book. I'm having a difficult time staying interested in it so I might not be reading as much as I would normally on this one unfortunately...

Im on my 4th book for this month so far. My averages vary so much because Im in graduate school right now. It all depends on how much work I have each month. Sometimes Im lucky to get 1 book read, other times I can finish a book every other day.

Since I'm reviewing books now, I've been reading books at work in PDFs... But if I were reading them on my Kindle, I'd be reading between 12 and 15 books a month.

I read 52 books last year and listened to 16. I read Robyn Carr's Virgin River series while I was undergoing radiation, so I'm sure that boosted my count. They were quick reads. It looks like I'm going to have to have radiation again this year. I think I'll do the In Death series, or part of it anyway. deb

Currently between 2 and four a month, although I somehow pulled off five last month. I want to read more, but mommyhood makes that challenging, unless you count when I read to my daughter, then I'd easily be in the 15 a month bracket .

Completely depends. I usually have more than 1 -- or 5 -- books going at once and some books read faster than others. 5-6 is probably average, but it can be as low as 3.

In addition to reading books, I also try to post something as a review on Amazon about them. Last night I posted 9 reviews, trying to catch up a little with what I have read.

I read two or three books on my Kindle per month - mainly fiction, since I prefer to read non-fiction in traditional book form.

I read 216 books in 2010. That averages 18 books a month. I probably ready 20-25 a month. I was without my kindle for almost 3 weeks in November so I only read 6 books that month. I am on my 8th book so far this month.

I really don't think I have an average to be honest. I try to read as much as I can and some months that may only be a handful of books and other months I may get close to one a day and some days *gasp* I just don't feel like reading.
I think if I had to average it I would say around 10 books a month. I know I read way over 100 books last year but I really have no idea how many I read. I didn't start using Goodreads until late in the year last year and I didn't remember all the dates I read the books I entered in.

Last year I read 77 books, the year before I read 111. So I average somewhere between 6 to 9 per month, I guess. I'm in the middle of number 8 for this month.

I've read 11 so far this month (Rick Riordans Red Pyramid, Lost Hero, Suzannes Hunger Games series, the last True Blood book, and the Enders Game Saga and 2 of the Shadow books). Now I'm reading Sphere, but after that I'm going to finish the Enders Shadow books.

I've only had my Kindle since Christmas. So far I have read about 9 books, plus read several short works. My reading has really increased since getting it.

I read around 20 per month, sometimes more. Some of those are re-reads, because who can afford 20 new books a month?
