So, a number of the members of Living Dead in Dallas have mentioned that they shot through books one and two in WAY less time than it's taking the book klub to read them, and they're afraid of giving away spoilers because they can't remember clearly what events happened in which book.

Having said that, would any of you be interested in having about 10 days to read the current SVM/Sookie/Eric porn book, and discuss it once?  And discuss the entire book at the same time?  I don't want to leave anyone behind, but even I think that three chapters a week is a fairly slow place.

Majority will rule here:  if the majority of readers want to shorten the klub and just have one discussion, we'll do that.  If the majority of readers want to read a few chapters a week and have weekly discussions, we'll do that.  I'm happy either way.  I just enjoy talking to everyone in chat.  Grin

If you have other suggestions, make those too!  Nothing is too far off the wall.  Except I am not going to Inverness to walk through a stone circle to see if I can fall into Shreveport.  So all of you who were going to suggest that, no dice.

Just make sure you have your smallpox vaccination before you do.

We have the same problem in the Outlander series as you know, and I know Mike has the same problem with In Her Name.  Let me know if you reach a solution.  Thanks.

Kevindorsey, you really should have had your shots before you came into this forum.  But you know that now, right?

I vote yes.  The first two took me two or three days, tops, to read.  And I generally only get an hour or so in a day.

OK Clearly I need to join all of you since we seem to all be reading the same books.

Count me in on the fast-track version. I'm just finishing up Living Dead in Dallas (having just finished Rapture in Death and currently anxiously awaiting Echo in the Bone! LOL).
