The views on soul and reincarnation vary from no such thing as a ‘soul’ to only humans possess a soul, to both humans and animals possess a soul, and that soul likewise dies when the physical body dies or that soul is immortal and never dies. All religions believe in the existence of SOUL in human body, but they differ in what happens after death.  This manuscript searches for the truth.  It provides alternate views using science and logic to questions that were perceived to be confusing and contradictory varying from faith to faith. We hope these will be more acceptable to our next generation of science and technology. It is written for those curious minds that like to explore the mystery of soul and reincarnation.

Dr. Dhillon has used the best of Eastern traditions and Western Scientific knowledge to expose the mystery of soul and reincarnation.

“There are many religions, but only
One Morality, One Truth, and One God.
The only Heaven is one of Conscious Life
And Fellowship with God.”

Welcome to KindleBoards, Dr. Dhillon, and congratulations on your book!

(If you've gotten this welcome before, it's just as a matter of housekeeping. We like to put a copy of the "welcome letter" in each book thread.  It doesn't mean you've done anything wrong, it just helps us know that you know the rules.)

A brief recap of our rules follows:

--We invite you to use your book cover as your avatar and have links to your book and website in your signature. Instructions are posted here

--Please bookmark this thread (using your browser's bookmark/favorite function) so you can update it as we ask that authors have only one thread per book and add to it when there is more information.  You may start a separate thread for each book (or you may have one thread per series of books, or one thread for all of your books, it's your choice).

--While you may respond to member posts to your thread at any time, you may only bump your thread (back-to-back posts by you) once every seven days.  Once you've responded to a member, that resets the clock to zero and you must wait seven days to post, unless another member posts before then.

--We ask that Amazon reviews not be repeated here as they are easy to find at your book link.  Also, full reviews from other sites should not be posted here, but you may post a short blurb and a link to the full review instead.

--Although self-promotion is limited to the Book Bazaar, our most successful authors have found the best way to promote their books is to be as active throughout KindleBoards as time allows.  This is your target audience--book lovers with Kindles!  Please note that putting link information in the body of your posts constitutes self promotion; please leave your links for your profile signature that will automatically appear on each post.  For information on more ways to promote here on KindleBoards, be sure to check out this thread:
Authors: KindleBoards Tips & FAQ.

All this, and more, is included in our Forum Decorum.  Be sure to check it from time to time for the current guidelines and rules.

Oh, and one more thing:  be sure to check out the index threads at the top of the Book Bazaar. . . .there are details there about how you can be listed so that our readers can find you.

Thanks for being part of KindleBoards!  Feel free to send us a PM if you have any questions.

That's an excellent question, Doctor.

I'm going to download a sample of your book.

And if you don't mind a fiction author tagging on to your non-fiction thread... Here's another question.  The existence of an immortal soul has been long debated with no concrete results.  But what if we could know the answer for sure?  What might our lives and our world be like if we KNEW that we never truly die?  There would likely be very little fear in the world for one thing.

And beyond that, what if we were SUPPOSED to know this, but there is someone actively keeping us form the truth?  Someone who doesn't care what we "believe" as long as we can't KNOW for sure.  What if they attacked and marginalized anyone who tried to tell the rest of us, by burning them at the stake, shooting them down with an assassin's bullet, or even crucifying them as an example to avoid, as a lesson in what else we might fear.  What if they wanted to keep us all ignorant of our true nature and afraid of our own shadows?  Wouldn't that explain a lot?   Wouldn't that explain war, oppression and greed, for example?

I like to share a review which even surprised me. It came from an author named Valentina C. I have no clue if she is a fiction or nonfiction author or where is she from. She decided to review my book. Here’s the review and her impartial observations on one of my books: “Soul and Reincarnation.”

What I found most surprising was the balance of ideas, the back and forth of science and religion. The author does a commendable job of stating both sides clearly and with as much impartiality as humanly possible. I have to say the chapter on transmigration of DNA was my favorite, very interesting take on the idea of reincarnation. Even if you don't agree with it, you can see the validity of the theory. I also enjoyed the last section, which listed the many issues that exist when trying to prove the existence of souls and reincarnation. Again, very balanced overview.
As with any book that deals with religion, it might not be for everyone. Although it would be wonderful if very religious people would read it, I doubt they'd find it half as informative as it's meant to be. I can only hope that some of the spiritual people out there will pick it up. It's well worth the attention.
