Both my husband and I feel that it would be easier to grip onto the kindle if it had handles on either side (just to the outside) of the page turn buttons.  The little strip or space to the outside of the page turn button where our thumbs rests now between page turns seems to small, sometimes when I handle it I inadvertently hit the buttons by accident.  Neither one of us has very large hands so that is not the problem.  I guess a cover could be made incorporating handles, maybe they were trying to keep the size down so made the kindle as small as possible, does anyone else miss having handles or something to thread your fingers through?

I have small hands, too, and I still manage to hit the next or previous button when I hold the Kindle, even with it in the case. I think a small handle or loop to slip a hand through would be great, or move the buttons to a different location.

One of my covers folds all the way back and magnetically clips together so I can put my four fingers between the front and back flaps to hold the Kindle and not come near touching the page tabs.  I use my thumb to click page tabs.  My hand doesn't get tired that way either.
My newer MEdge doesn't have a button or clip so I use a bungee band to hold the back and front together so I can slide my fingers in as I did the other one.
Just sayin'...
