page problems and font problmes...

Two problems-- completely unrelated. (yes, you can tell I'm new at this)

1. How do I change my font size?

2.  Why, when I finish reading a sample and decide to buy the rest of the book does the book load to the first page, not the spot where I finished reading the sample.

Have you read the Users' Guide that came with your Kindle?  It will answer a lot of these really basic questions and is very well done -- completely understandable and not confusing at all.  Lots of 'step-by-step'.

For fonts, you want the AA button.  You have to be in a book for it to work; you can't change the font on the home page.

Samples are completely separate files pulled from the full work.  They're not really connected in anyway.  When you finish, just note the location number of the end of the sample and when you get the book use "go to" from the menu to go to that location to continue reading.
