Contrast?

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the contrast on Kindle2?  I have gotten very used to reading on my Nook Color which is back lit and now when I switch over to the Kindle it seems very dull and I have a hard time reading.  Someone suggested changing the contrast but it is not in the users guide and I cant find it on the Kindle itself.

No, there is no way to change the contrast on the screen.

However it is noticeable how much the contrast improves with better lighting, you might want to try using a room light or a book light (remember there is no backlight in the Kindle screen).
