I showed up a little late to this party, but I don't think naming your Kindle is a feminine/masculine thing. I'm female and I haven't given mine a name. So don't feel as if it makes you less or more of a man to name yours. Smiley

On the other hand, I did name my iPod....

Nope. I’ve never felt the need to name anything that wouldn’t come when I call it.

And yes, my cat comes when I call it. Especially if I add the word “treat.” Grin

Jim—nice Monkey Island reference. Smiley

Q: What do you call a dog with no legs?
A: It doesn't matter what you call it, it isn't going to come.

2) How appropriate, you post like a cow. Wink

At first Ford had formed a theory to account for this strange behavior. If human beings don't keep exercising their lips, he thought, their mouths probably seize up.
After a few months' consideration and observation he abandoned this theory in favor of a new one. If they don't keep on exercising their lips, he thought, their brains start working.

You could name it Bitch. Then you'd sound all tough guy and masculine when you said things like, "Hold up, I gots ta get my Bitch, yo." or "Have you seen my Bitch anywhere?" or "Lemme show you all the cool tricks my Bitch can do! You'll want to own one, too."

Not really ...I'm j/k.

Backs slowly out of thread, looking in all directions for angry villagers Kindlers with pitchforks.

Why carry pitchforks, when we have access to tasers?

lol! Because, as everyone knows, dahling, angry villagers Kindlers are known for wielding pitchforks (and torches*). Especially when in a crowd headed for the local creepy castle. Garshk, what books do you read? Wink

*I didn't think torches appropriate to mention as I didn't want the forum to accidentally get burned to the ground.
