I showed up a little late to this party, but I don't think naming your Kindle is a feminine/masculine thing. I'm female and I haven't given mine a name. So don't feel as if it makes you less or more of a man to name yours.

On the other hand, I did name my iPod....

Nope. I’ve never felt the need to name anything that wouldn’t come when I call it.

And yes, my cat comes when I call it. Especially if I add the word “treat.”
