I'm buying a kindle for my best friend!!! I'm so exited!! I almost can't keep the secret! She will get the Kindle 3 WiFi with The DaVinci Oberon cover in black. She picked her. I asked her "for fun" Which one she loved. She is the best friend you can have and she totally deserves this gift! It's really a birthday gift, but I don't Think I can wait two months..

That's a great gift and she'll love it! I wouldn't be able to hold my excitement either and I would end up giving it to her early. You're a great friend.

Oh my gosh, how wonderful.  I wouldn't be able to keep the secret either.
You have to tell us her reaction when she gets it.

Um. . . . if you want to keep it secret. . . .telling 40,000 people on an internet forum might not have been the best idea! Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

Of course I will! I'm having really trouble keeping myself calm.

How long will it take to arrive to Norway ca?
And how long for Oberon to arrive?
I will order them as fast as I Get money, hopefully at least order the Cover on monday.
I'm looking si forward to see her face!

Should I tell her when it is on it's way, or let her have the surprise when she opens it?

I'd surprise her once the Kindle and Oberon arrive, as I'd never be able to keep it secret for a couple of months.

By the way, let me know if you're ever in the market for another (not replacement!) best friend. Wink  Great gift!

Jup, I will definitely give her when it arrives! But living in Norway it takes some time, especially the cover.

They were from Malm - their last name was Malmo.  They had 3 kids there and then moved to Canada and had 6 more! Smiley

Okay

So I totally spoiled it haha.
Good news is she was really happy for it.

The watch will begin tomorrow or Tuesday.

I remember when Michelle arrived. I have the exact time on my signature. It was one rare, special moment.

What a great gift!  I'd have a hard time keeping quiet about that.

I live in Norway. From they sent it 'till I received mine it took less than a week.

Btw, if you have calibre there's finally a book in Norwegian out there: Norske Fokeeventyr You'll have to convert it from epub yourself though.
