Product Description
Fishing’s Greatest Misadventures presents twenty-six true stories which cover the spectrum from terrifying to comical to downright bizarre. In these pages everyday fishermen, pros, and journalists tell their stories of freak accidents, fishy attacks, pranks, idiotic decisions, eerie or unexplained incidents, and other jaw dropping, adrenalin-pumping calamities. The stories bring to life the strange possibilities that await us once we cast our lines into known and unknown waters.

George, searching for something else I just stumbled across this thread...  I have two typewriters of about the same vintage sitting in my garage, I don't even know if either of them works, but they both have spools in 'em.  I was thinking that if the spools happen to be the same size as the ones that yours uses you might like to have them, since you mentioned having only one set.  Is there a parts number or model number or some way to describe the specific spool size/type it uses?

Come to think of it, maybe someone on KB collects old typewriters?  I'd love to declutter my garage....   I sort of inherited these clunkers, and while I appreciate manual typewriters (I have, and occasionally use, a 1985 Olivetti), these are a bit too aged for me.  A little too heavy to ship, perhaps, but anyone within driving distance of the DC area is welcome to them.

Let me take a close look at the spools later (when I can afford to have inky hands) to see if there's a model number or size on them. I would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you!

Hey George - what the aluminum foil antenna for?

Yeah, I like the aluminum foil on the antenna.  Do you have a funny hat like that too?  I hear they used to use them to keep aliens away!  Cheesy
