I bought s kindle 1. I live in Norway.
How to charge?
Does it charge via USB? Is there another way to charge safely?

It should have a wall charger that you use.

It has, but It doesn't fit the European standard plug thing. Which converter must I use?

I think you just need an adapter. At least, I did not need a converter when I was in Australia and New Zealand. Take it to an electronics store and ask them.

You will just need an adapter to put on the end of the plug. Not sure were they sell these in Norway, I would assume electronic stores?

Hi :-)
You have to make sure that the adapter you have with your K1 supports voltage switching. Remember US has 110volt. We in Norway have 220...

The Kindles where built for 110 and 220. I have traveled withmine internationally and only had to use an adapter.

The K1 doesn't charge via USB.  You just need a plug adapter (not a converter, it works with 110 & 220).
