Out of curiosity, for two weeks I posted a poll on my blog asking e-reader owners to report which brand they own. I listed Kindle, Nook, iPad, Sony, and Other (well, I'm sure there are others out there I don't know about. I asked only for honesty, since this was in no way a scientific study. Still, I wasn't surprised by the Kindle results, but somewhat surprised by the lack of votes (0) for one of the others.

[Me and My Kindle]

I love it when blogs do original research!  The newspaper industry is struggling, so it's nice to know that in general, bloggers are out there to perform their own grass roots investigations! (I once tracked down the woman whose e-book appeared on the screen of the Kindle in one of Amazon's TV commercials -- and then asked it how it felt!)

I didn't hear about your poll, but I'd be curious if it included people who had more than one device.  I own both a Kindle 3 and a Kindle DX (which I purchased on sale, just to see if I'd like it.)  And if I could find a cheap Kindle 1, I'd buy it too -- just so I'd have a complete set!
