Kathy so glad to hear that the block is working! Be sure and tell your sister Beverly that we are all behind her. What she is doing is tough, but she can do it! Just a step (or bite) at a time. Hopefully she has a good dietitian working with her and the rest of her family is supportive. Families can destroy a lot of good work very quickly.
Aiden is on my list. I also have a whole bunch of others of you on my list, just hang in there and believe and it will come in the Lord's time - not necessarily yours. I am a good example of this, we are working closer to the same time line now.
hugs to all of you

Thank you all for praying for Aiden. I told his grandfather this morning you all were praying for him and their family. He says thank you also.

Dona, thanks for the reminder that the Lord's timeline does not always match our own. Sometimes I forget that. I am keeping all of your requests in my prayers.

Jay and I are in need of prayer. Many of you will remember the problem with our daughter, Krystal almost 18 months ago. Our 15 year old grandson Dillan and 9 year old granddaughter Lexy will be coming to live with us. It will be a big adjustment for them and for us. We will be making the 12 hour drive to Norfolk, VA to get them Friday. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all but I know if God brings it to us He will get us through it! Please pray for my precious grandchildren, they have been through so much!
Thank you all...

Linda, you and Jay have been in my prayers since when! The boys will be fine with the love and stability you and Jay will be giving them. Of course, all of our prayers will be with you helping you. Just don't get stressed out a cuppa and a cookie solves lots of problems or makes them go away.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dona's Family. I am still having a hard time believing this. Everytime I see one of Dona's post and I see that she is not on line I want to cry.

Angela: We miss you. Hugs The grandkids must be getting so big. Going to be a rough couple of days on these boards without Anju's happy thoughts. All the best to you and yours.
EVERYONE on this thread is continually in my prayers; especially Dona's family. I just wish she had gotten to enjoy her new house. She was so excited.

Oh my gosh, I can NOT believe Dona is gone! She has personally reached out to me since the start of the OYB group. When I needed a lift there was always a personal message from Dona. I loved her although I never met her. I am in shock! My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, family and friends. I love you dear friend, you will be missed!! As tears stream down my face I think of how heaven is better because of you... a special, wonderful angel. Rest in peace Dona.

I will be praying for Dona's family and friends. I will miss her kind wods and cheerful attitude, but feel certain that the Lord has welcomed a new angel into heaven. May she rest in peace.

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
-- KJV
I post this in memory of Dona whose sweet spirit has made us all richer.

The Power of Prayer: I thought these boards could use a bit of GOOD news...I'm jumping for joy!!My Mom (as many of you already know) had a double mastectomy and 15 lymph nodes removed 2 years ago. She was diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer, IBC (which is a rare form and a fast spreader). She went through very intense chemo. This was followed by 39 radiation treatments (which burnt her lungs; causing her to be on full time oxygen). She then proceeded with even more chemo (way way more than the norm); which left her with severe neuropathy and an enlarged heart. She now sees a heart specialist... Monday: We spent the day at the hospital for yet another scan and a bone density test... This afternoon: Mom got the phone call with her scan results: She (at the moment) is: CANCER FREE. Thank you dear God, thank you, thank you, thank you...and to all of you who stuck by me and encouraged me and prayed for US...THANK YOU from the bottom of my elated heart .( I know Dona is smiling down right now. )
