I had some good news today at my oncologist appointment. My liver numbers, that have been elevated for a couple of years, have almost completely resolved. I still have one elevated number, but it's lower than it was 3 months ago. Dr. is not going to put me on Tamoxifen because of the side effects it can have on the liver. But considering how very small my cancer was when discovered he's not particularly worried about it. Now, I'm just praying that the blood tests they did today come back with positive news also. deb
Good news...I'd say that is GREAT news. I'm thrilled for you.

Thank you, everyone.
Prayer request: Aiden Stevens, about 4 months old now, is back in the hospital, Ruby Memorial in WV, and will be having surgery again tomorrow. I believe it's on his intestines again. deb

Thank you all for your continued prayers for Rosetta and her Dad. I fear it's almost time. He's doing very, very poorly. It seems like all of this has happened so quickly.

Rosetta's dad, Larry, passed away early this morning.
I knew it was coming, but I'm heartbroken.

Sorry to hear about Rosetta's loss. She and her family will be in my prayers as well as you Heather. Angela I am praying for Nancy and her Mom. Deb thanks for the update on Aiden. I pray for all of you but like having a list for specific prayers needed. I have a praise report. Dillan & Lexy have been living with us 3 weeks Friday and we have all adjusted well. They seem very happy to be with Nina and Papa and we have been blessed. I find myself looking forward to seeing them after work. My reading time has been cut by > 50%. but it is worth it. Making many happy memories to be cherished. I do know why God gives us our kids when we are young because I am exhausted!! My daughter is visiting with the kids and calls them which is a step in the right direction. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

Everyone is still in my prayers...especially Aiden.
Linda: It's a wonderful thing you are doing. Your grandchildren will reap many rewards tomorrow for the sacrifices you are making today. Kudos to you. Thanks for the update.
Angela and her Mom are still in our thoughts.

Linda, I am happy to hear that things are going well for you.
I am also happy to report that little Justin had the surgery to remove the tumor near his liver yesterday. He came through the surgery well. They did remove part of his liver and his gall bladder, but he should be able to live normally. He came through the operation very well and the doctors are hopeful that all of the cancer has been removed. Thank you to all who have included him in your prayers.
I will continue to pray for all of your intentions, especially for Katie, Aiden, and all of the little ones who need healing. I am realizing more and more how blessed I am to have raised six children to adulthood without having to cope with any major physical problems. It helps to put all of life's little disappointments into perspective for me. I have so much to be grateful for.

Just heard from oncologist and my blood work did not come back as well as I'd hoped. They are going to try me on oral iron for a while. They wanted to do IV something or other, but I kinda sorta begged to try the oral iron first. I guess that explains why I've been so tired. deb
