Little Reed is on my list.

Paul, that's so sad. I'm praying for her recovery.

Praying for all in need.

My cousin (who's been out of work for over a year) had his seven-year old daughter taken to the hospital with pneumonia.  She's been there for four days.  Apparently, it's not the usual stuff but some strange illness (as you've noticed I know little about medicine).  She is getting progressively worse.  Yesterday, she was transferred to an ICU in another hospital on a helicopter.  Please pray for them so that my cousin's daughter gets well and for the ability to handle the financial burden.

Osnova, I just read your request and have prayed that The Lord put his healing hands upon her for healing and also for your cousin's financial burdens. Please keep us posted.

Have added her to my prayer list.  Can you share her name?

Thank you, all.

I talked to my cousin yesterday.  The doctors are considering removing fluid from her lungs. I guess it involves putting some long needle into the lung. She is on oxygen; shallow breaths, lethargic.  I myself have bouts of seasonal allergies sometimes when I can hardly breathe.  The world fades away and nothing matters but getting another taste of air.

Praying for all of you.

My Mom fell last Tuesday and broke her hip, she is 84. Surgery was Wednesday, she was transferred to rehab for 3 weeks Friday. Please keep her in your prayers, she has a long recovery ahead of her. I was with her from Tuesday night until today. Back home for 5 days.

All, Anastasia had the procedure (fluid removal) and feels better.  Thank you for your prayers, she still needs them.

I had posted this prayer request in the 'stop smoking' thread and geoff and andra suggested I add it here, as well:

I just got a note from our pastor that an elderly lady in our church was involved in a single car accident yesterday and the doctors have, so far, discovered 10 broken bones including both kneecaps, ribs and sternum, wrist and ankle.  She is currently in surgery on her ankle.  She also has blood pressure issues and cannot take pain medication.

Any thoughts and prayers you could send up for her will be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick update to let you know that my friend passed away at about 1:45 this morning.  Her injuries were too much for her to overcome.  Thank you for your prayers.

Have a blessed week, everyone.

Trying to catch up. I've missed everyone so much. Work has me going crazy, but I'm blessed to have a job so I'm not complaining. Just when work had me in tears I open up my iPhone and there is the sweetest little baby on the screen. My newest grandson was healthy and perfect. I feel so blessed. Everyone is in my prayers and thoughts everyday.

I've been praying for everyone here.  I don't post often here, but I have a prayer request, since I am now in tears.

I've been out of work since January 2009, except for occasional temp work that I've done this year.  My unemployment benefits were just recalculated, based on my 2010 work, which is not full-time or even regular.  Benefits have been reduced by more than half, from $405 a week to $180/wk.  I am so desperate that I just sent an email with my resume to hiring manager at my old job, where I was laid off along with several other employees, simply to cut costs.  Employers have just not been hiring.  Agencies keep telling me that it's about to pick up, but it has not in all this time.
