I saw this one in the Free Books section:

Product Description
Shawn Wood explores the story of obscure Old Testament
character Huram of Tyre, a bronzeworker putting the finishing
touches on Solomon s Temple. Huram was renowned for his
talent, but he saved the most ornate details of his temple work,
including 200 intricately crafted pomegranates, for a place
where most people would never even notice it: thirty-four feet off
the ground, atop two massive columns.

Huram s example shows readers the importance of using talents
and skills to benefit others and to contribute something of lasting
worth, and doing our best even if God is the only audience.

Thanks, Suzanne, that looks interesting.  I thought I just checked the free books yesterday & didn't notice this, so I'm glad you posted it here.

Another interesting book from the Free Book thread:

Product Description
Overwhelmed. Miserable. Exhausted. These are often the words that women use to describe their high-demand lifestyles. How are women who are always on the go expected to cope with the demands of work, family, and ministry? Carolyn Mahaney and her three daughters, Nicole Whitacre, Kristin Chesemore, and Janelle Bradshaw, recognize the needs of Christian women today. Shopping for Time offers the solution to women who truly desire to glorify God with every use of their time. These authors offer five tips to help ladies do it all without becoming overwhelmed: rise early, sit down, sit longer (occasionally), choose friends wisely, and take fifteen minutes. By weaving biblical principles of God-s Word into these keys, these authors give women practical advice on how to fulfill-and excel in-their daily responsibilities.

Hello my dear OYB family! What's going on with me?? Well, still very involved in Women's Ministry and choir at church and driving my dad to his eye appointments. He had his glaucoma/cataract surgery back in September and we are still going back for followups. I still have occasional flair ups with those pesky spasms in my back, but I am able to control them with stretching and deep breathing. The exercises in the pool have come to an end due to the drops in water temp so no more swimming pool until next summer!

My niece who moved in with me last March finally moved out about 4 weeks ago. She is going to college parttime and working fulltime. She has reestablished a relationship with her dad (my brother) and with her mom (ex sil). She seems to be doing OK.

The hubby is still working in Houston and coming home on weekends and I still make frequent trips to Houston to spend time with him, our DD and her family and am getting ready to make my quarterly trip to Midland to see our DS and his family.

I am glad to be back online and hope to around more (we had some internet issues that have been worked out). I have missed you all very much.

Thanks maianner, it is good to be back! I really missed the conversations. I kept up with some of the posts through emails while I wasn't able to get online (having a smartphone is great!).
