All I know is the hubby is extremely happy that the Kindle is silent since I like to read in bed while he snores!  Grin

Omg! I had never noticed it before you mentioned it but my right next page click is alot louder than my left side also! Thats very odd I wonder if that is intentional? Another bizarre kindle oddity
My left  Next page button clicks, and it has more wiggle than my other buttons.  And yes it is annoying!

I like a quiet Kindle. Just think you can read it in the Library without any Marion the Librarian susurrating a "shhhh." The librarians of the world have formed a long serpentine conga line and dancing to the silent Kindle.

Edward C. Patterson

I can read it quietly in the library if I'm not reading a Stephanie Plum novel, that is!   Grin

I heard some of the early Kindle prototypes were pretty loud.  We should be thankful that all we have to deal with are loud page clicks!

Isn't that the truth!!  I was reading Three to Get Deadly at my mom's when I went to bed and had to stop because I couldn't hold the laughs in and I didn't want to wake anyone.  Just discovered these books because of the board here, and I love them.
