Does anybody's screen change color at night? My screen gets darker,kind
Of a beige color. I first noticed it a couple of weeks ago.

It's a reflective screen... when the light level goes down, the screen appears darker. The Kindle works best in a brighter light, IMHO.

Sometimes when I used my Kindle in the sunlight, I worried that it absorbed the extra light somehow.  The contrast seemed lighter on my screen, and I wondered if I'd done permanent damage.

But maybe it's just that when you inspect your Kindle on a sunny day -- it's reflecting more light. So then it seems like the screen has suddenly become brighter!
