My name is Pamela Davis and Gaia Dreams is my first novel. It is a book filled with adventure, disasters, some elements of the paranormal and hope.

With disasters occurring around the world, a widely-dispersed group of people begin to make their way to what they hope is a safe place. At the center of the safe zone lies a family trying to deal with the knowledge that their young daughter is having prophetic dreams of the disasters along with a new found psychic ability. What the family doesn’t realize is these dreams are also being experienced by others. They are the driving force leading them.

The dreams may mean the end of the world, or the beginning of something altogether different. As more disasters strike a new form of communication with the world begins to emerge around the dreamers, but will it be too late to listen?

Gaia Dreams was just released on Kindle and as a trade paperback on Amazon and Nook book and trade paperback at Barnes & Noble.

the mind of pam is my blog. There I write about writing as I work on the sequel to Gaia Dreams.

Review:
Reviewed by Lynn F. for ReadersFavorite.com

"Gaia Dreams by Pamela Davis is a book that will leave the reader wondering and looking around. Gaia is Greek meaning land or earth or the Greek version of Mother Nature, and now Mother Nature is retaliating, one state, town and country at a time. When a women predicts a hurricane coming into Florida on a specific day, the meteorologist passes her off as just another psychic. When a young girl dreams of drowning, another predicts a destructive earthquake destroying Los Angeles, and other calamities that occur it is too late to start listening to them. Now the family pets have become involved and communicating with their owners. As people try to find their way to a safe place they begin to wonder. Is God destroying the world or have we in our own way destroyed the earth?

When I first started to read this book, I found it hard to put down. The story is quite interesting, but I feel it is more in the paranormal genre than Sci-Fi. The book does jump back and forth from town to town, person to person, and one can lose track if reading too fast. This is a very large book that is not fast paced, and I feel needs to be read deeply to get the full potential out it. If you like books in this type of genre, then I feel like one can become very involved in this book."

Welcome to KindleBoards, Pamela, and congratulations on your book!  Smiley

Please note that KindleBoards is a Readers and Kindle Fan forum.  Authors are always welcome to post anywhere but, as you browse the 'boards, please keep in mind that self-promotion, of any sort, is ONLY allowed here in the Book Bazaar.

A brief recap of our rules follows: (Note that this doesn't mean you've done anything wrong; we just want you to have a ready reference. Smiley )

--Please bookmark this thread (using your browser's bookmark/favorite function) so you can update it as we ask that authors have only one thread per book and add to it when there is more information.  You may start a separate thread for each book (or you may have one thread per series of books, or one thread for all of your books, it's your choice).

--We invite you to use your book cover as your avatar and have links to your book and website in your signature. Instructions are posted here

--While you may respond to member posts to your thread at any time, you may only bump your thread (back-to-back posts by you) once every seven days.  Once you've responded to a member, that resets the clock to zero and you must wait seven days to post, unless another member posts before then.

--We ask that Amazon reviews not be repeated here as they are easy to find at your book link.  Also, full reviews from other sites should not be posted here, but you may post a short blurb and a link to the full review instead.

--Although self-promotion is limited to the Book Bazaar, our most successful authors have found the best way to promote their books is to be as active throughout KindleBoards as time allows.  This is your target audience--book lovers with Kindles!  Please note that putting link information in the body of your posts constitutes self promotion; please leave your links for your profile signature that will automatically appear on each post.  For information on more ways to promote here on KindleBoards, be sure to check out this thread:
Authors: KindleBoards Tips & FAQ.

All this, and more, is included in our Forum Decorum.  Be sure to check it from time to time for the current guidelines and rules.

Oh, and one more thing:  be sure to check out the index threads at the top of the Book Bazaar. . . follow the directions there to be listed. Smiley

Thanks for being part of KindleBoards!  Feel free to send us a PM if you have any questions.
