I won't be getting one any time soon. Because I don't need it.
Bigger screen, rotation, native pdf and more storage. Not enough to tempt me.
For college students who can get their technical textbooks on it. Great! Now tell me when the textbook publishers who are "on the team" are going to deliver.
Rotation - nice but I can live without it.
Native PDF - One of the better features.
More Storage - I can't use the storage I have now.
And, from the pictures, a
major design failure. This is intended, among other targets, to be used for textbooks and reference materials. But if you look at the pictures, you can see that more than 80% of the population will be unable to hold the Kindle DX in one hand and use the other to write notes while still being able to page back and forth in the document -- only 8%-15% of people are left-handed, and with all the controls on the right side you're stuck on the current page if you've got a pen in your right hand and holding a Kindle DX in your left.
