Many of those "Big Deal" Books have been free in the past... it's not as much of a deal when you already have the books for free from Amazon.

I just looked and saw pretty much nothing in the way of what I'd like to read. No fantasy or SF to speak of.

Yeah, Romance is thin pickings too, especially Historical. A few on there have been .99 for a week now so I already got them 

I am happy though overall that publishers are doing this more and more now. I have been getting a few lately in the .99-2.99 range that are usually 7-10 bucks. So that's always nice.

I hadn't even heard of this sale!  I bought a few of the Jane Austen/Zombie books.  And that book co-written by George R.R. Martin.

Oh and incidentally, this isn't part of this sale, but Louise Penny's "A Brutal Telling" (Inspector Gamache Book) and "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell" are priced at $2.99 as of yesterday.
