Fishing’s Greatest Misadventures presents twenty-six true stories which cover the spectrum from terrifying to comical to downright bizarre. In these pages everyday fishermen, pros, and journalists tell their stories of freak accidents, fishy attacks, pranks, idiotic decisions, eerie or unexplained incidents, and other jaw dropping, adrenalin-pumping calamities. The stories bring to life the strange possibilities that await us once we cast our lines into known and unknown waters.

Here are some of the characters you'll meet inside these pages:

* A sport fisherman who gets taken on harrowing underwater ride by an angry white shark.
* An adventure angler whose boat is over turned by a 200 lb Amazon-river catfish.
* A group of ice fishermen who lose their cabin, gear and pride to a single pike.
* A teenager who sabotages a fish farm and frees 300,000 salmon.
* A charter boat operator who gets speared thro...

Here's a simple, easy-to-use way to link words in your post to Amazon.

I've prepared a new button that appears in your posting pages: it's a 'Search Amazon' button and looks like this:

When you're citing a book or accessory in your posts, you can:

1. Select the text (e.g. War and Peace), and...
2. Click the 'Search Amazon' button

Simple! In your post, that text will become a clickable link. When readers of your post click on it, a new browser page will open with search results from Amazon.

It's a quick and easy way to link the content in your posts to Amazon. (Note that, to go straight to a particular Amazon product page, or to create an image link, you still need to use the Link-Maker tool.)

Let me know if you have questions or problems with it!

At first Ford had formed a theory to account for this strange behavior. If human beings don't keep exercising their lips, he thought, their mouths probably seize up.
After a few months' consideration and observation he abandoned this theory in favor of a new one. If they don't keep on exercising their lips, he thought, their brains start working.

Cool!  And you will still get an amazon affiliate commi$$ion if a purchase is made during that visit, right?  I now always make sure I link to amazon thru this site so that a wee bit of the money I spend there will go help support this great board.  It might not be much, but I figure it all adds up and every little bit helps.

Thanks, Harvey!

^ Yes, that search has our affiliate information in it, so Amazon will credit us for any sales that result. Thanks, Xia!

Cool, I've wanted to link some searches to Kindleboards, so this is great!
